선박 및 해양구조물의 모형실험에 사용되는 총 크기는 110m X 8m X 3.5m인 예인수조로 선형시험수조 부속 시설로는 최고 속력 5.0m/s의 예인 전차가 있으며, 모형 실험 시 0.3m까지의 파도를 만들어 낼 수 있는 조파기, 저항을 계측하기 위한 여러 계측기 등 높은 수준의 실험 장비들이 갖추어져 있다.
