배를 디자인하기 위해서는 우선 파도에 대한 정확한 이해가 선행되어야 한다. 이러한 파도에 대한 심도 있는 연구를 하기 위한 설비이며 총 22m의 길이로 주기 0.5~3.0 sec, 높이 0.2~1.0m의 파도를 생성할 수 있다.

Equipped with the irregular wave geneator, the current generator, and the carriage, this two-dimensional wave tank can measure the motion of two-dimensional floating bodies and the load on ocean structures and also verify the flow induced by the current.
